Amber Bansal, born and raised in Pondicherry, completed his B.Com. (Honours) from Shri Ram College of Commerce, University of Delhi. He went on to qualify as a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), UK.
He is currently serving as a Whole-Time Director at POCL Enterprises Limited, a family business he joined in 2017.
Established in 1988, POCL Enterprises Limited is a publicly listed company on the Bombay Stock Exchange. The company operates in the manufacturing and recycling of non-ferrous metals such as lead and zinc, and is also engaged in the production of metallic oxides and PVC additives with 6 factories across Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry & Gujarat.
A dedicated Rotarian since 2017, Amber has actively contributed to the organization in various capacities over the years. He is honored to serve as the President of the Rotary Club of Chennai Central Elite for the year 2026–27. In this role, he looks forward to leading a dynamic year focused on fellowship, professional networking, and meaningful service to society.
